Hefei Cement Research & Design Institute corporation Ltd. (HCRDI) distinguishes himself in the building material industry of China as a pivotal research institute and a state Class-A engineering and design certificate holder, steeped in a glorious history of a good 60 years. Through the system reform in July 1999, it was integrated into China National Building Material Group Corporation (CNBM). The institute is mainly engaged in research and development of technology and equipment applied for cement production, providing engineering, technical service, construction supervision, complete set of equipment for cement plant and contracting turnkey project, etc.
Firmly anchored in the vantage of scientific research, in pursuit of industrialization of research findings, bolstered by the strength in project design, HCRDI has fervently blazed a trail in the local and global market of EPC project contracting. By dint of hard work, he has found his niche in this field and transformed himself into a first-class international EPC project contractor and cement industry equipment supplier, and has come out on top 3 in the building material and mechanical industry among 20 enterprises and is one of 255 international project contractors as well.
Since the establishment of the institute, HCRDI has undertaken a good number of research subjects, including some 400 subjects of Chinese National Programs for Science and Technology Development and major project of local departments, among which 240 subjects research result have been evaluated and acknowledged. Most of the programs are at international level and some of them even filled the research gap. With passing of time, he has become a bellwether in a various field of technology, highlighted by Pyro-processing Technology、Powder Engineering Company、production process automation、Environment Protection Engineering、Metal Material Engineering、optimized exploration of cement raw material and comprehensive utilization of resources, and has been a melting pot of academic experts and professional talents.

In terms of HCRDI’s technology enterprise, drawing on his strong point in technology, through consistent import, digestion, absorption and innovation of overseas technologies, now he is capable of supplying grinding equipment, pyro-processing equipment, environment protection equipment, wear-and-heat-resistant materials, equipment for conveying bulk material, automatic control and measuring device and steel structure, etc and so forth for 12000t/d clinker production lines or the lines of lower capacity, which wins high reputation from clients home and abroad.

It is HCRDI that has developed the first cement production line applied with new technology of preheating and pre-calcining. And now he has developed preheating and pre-calcining technology and equipment for 1000-12000t/d production line, and has fulfilled contracts for a good 500 production lines of various capacity including 12000t/d, and his footsteps have spreaded all over the world covering more than 10 countries, i.e. KSA, Sudan, Russia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Ethiopia、Chile and Indonesia.
